I have an international background, due to my studies and working experience in Italy and abroad. During the University years, I studied at the University of Bucharest on a Socrates-Erasmus scholarship (2001/2002) and I got a degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences (specialization in Economics) at the University of Turin with a graduation thesis (for which I had the highest mark: 110/110 cum laude) dealing with theoretical and empirical analysis about foreign direct investment in Romania. With a view to obtaining empirical data for my thesis, I also undertook a traineeship at the Chamber of Commerce of Bucharest. Then, from October 2003-August 2004 and December 2005-September 2007, I worked in the Research Centre on Emerging and Transition Countries at the Department of Economics of the University of Turin. My research dealt with political, social and economic development (structural economy, foreign investment and foreign trade) in a number of transition countries (including field research in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania and participation at UNECE meetings in Geneva and at the 2006 EBRD Annual meeting in London). As the research centre’s coordinator I also carried out clerical duties.
To deepen my knowledge in the business field, from November 2004-October 2005 I attended a Master course organized by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade. The Master included an internship that I undertook in EURECNA, an Italian company which provides technical assistance to the Romanian Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, within the European Union PHARE Program; my duty station was Bucharest. I prepared background documents on several policy issues that were relevant to Romania at that time. In particular, I explored topics related to enterprise development policies. I also drafted project proposals for international organizations’ tenders in several countries, including Moldova and Bosnia Herzegovina.
In September 2006 I participated in the Summer School “Beyond the Enlargement. The wider Europe and the new neighborhood” organized by the “Institute for Central Eastern and Balkan Europe” (University of Bologna). There I won “The Best Essay Award” with the paper “An economic agenda for the Republic of Macedonia”. I also participated in cultural exchanges in the framework of the European Union “Youth in Action Programme” in Poland, Ukraine and Georgia and I attended a Macedonian language course in Ohrid (August 2006) and a Bulgarian language course in Sofia (July 2007). Moreover, I have very good knowledge of Romanian/Moldovan language and a fair knowledge of Spanish, and in this respect I could read documents in original languages, and speak with people in their own language.
These experiences improved my research and analytical skills, as well as my organizational and technical skills. I gained an excellent knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) as well as Internet research tools. I also have basic knowledge of MS Project, Dreamweaver and SPSS software.
I am a precise, dynamic, open minded and motivated person, able to work in an international team, assume responsibility and cope with stressful situations. I have good communication and presentation skills and university teaching experience (I was assistant at the Italian language course at the University of Bucharest). I am looking for a job in a private or public company in the field of business consulting, foreign trade relations, finance or in a Research center.

Il lavoro è volto a sviluppare la cooperazione industriale tra imprese italiane e le controparti estere. L'indagine ha previsto una ricerca sul campo in Slovenia, Croazia, Bosnia Erzegovina e Macedonia.
