Main Working Activities:
• Design, dimensioning, choice of components, development, realization and validation of CPTF (Cavitating Pump Test Facility), CPRTF (Cavitating Pump Rotordynamic Test Facility) and TCT (Thermal Cavitation tunnel)
• Experimental activity on cavitating/noncavitating turbopumps and hydrofoils. Long-time experience in the use of: pressure transducers (static/resistive and dynamic/piezoelectric transducers); electromagnetic flowmeters; slip rings assemblies.
• Collaboration in the design of a rotating dynamometer for the CPRTF and “know-how” experience in the measurement of forces and moments by strain-gauges
• Analog/digital signal acquisition, conditioning, filtering and postprocessing
• Writing of technical papers and intermediate/final reports for ASI and CIRA contracts
• 2D and 3D technical drawing for design purposes
