Salvatore Rinaldi

Sono un Ing. Meccanico/Energia neolaureato (febbraio 2010) presso l'Università degli studi di Catania. Ho conseguito la laurea a pieni voti e con la lode.
Sono molto attratto dal mondo dell’impiantistica termotecnica, meccanica e tecnologica in generale, relativa alle utenze di particolare complessità e criticità, nonché dalle tematiche relative all’efficienza energetica e alla ottimizzazione degli stessi impianti.
Il mondo dell'energia, sua produzione e veicolamento, mi affascinano nonchè le complesse tematiche relative al rapporto energia/ambiente.
Ho effettuato tirocinio aziendale presso uno studio di progettazione del settore, per una durata complessiva di 4 mesi, sviluppando una tesi di laurea sul condizionamento e la qualità dell’aria in ambienti ospedalieri, con particolare attenzione alle tematiche relative alla climatizzazione dei blocchi operatori e delle sale a contaminazione controllata. La stessa tesi di laurea gareggia nel concorso indetto dall’associazione AICARR.

    Mansione: Construction Estimating Engineer

    Commento personale: The Construction P&CE Engineer, coordinated and assisted by the Construction P&CE SH, performs the following activities: • to receive the Client’s Tender documents issued by the Client from the Estimating Department or the FEED documents produced by the Project Team; • to receive the Bill of Quantities from the Estimating Department or Project Team; • to receive the Project Schedule, prepared by the Planning Department; • to perform Site Visits to select possible bidders and/or collect info on site/plant conditions (if required); • to prepare the direct standard man-hours estimate for piping and mechanical disciplines (for the other disciplines, they are already included in the Bill of Quantities), elaborating the relevant Bill of Quantities and using TPIT standard productivities database; • to prepare the direct local man-hours estimate, starting from the standard manhours and using the localization factors derived from past Projects or Proposals; • to prepare the price lists for all disciplines, elaborating the Bill of Quantities; • to prepare the Bid Inquiries (which include the price lists), elaborating the Tender documents received from the Client or the FEED documents produced by the Project Team; • to issue the Bid Inquiries to construction subcontractors and arrange clarification meetings, if required; • to receive, review and comment construction Subcontractors’ offers; • to prepare the bid tabulations (including offers conditioning, if required); • to produce the cost estimate relevant to the construction subcontracts activities and hand over the same to the Estimating Department; • to produce the TCF estimate (including camp and catering, if required), using data from past Projects or Proposals or issuing dedicated Bid Inquiries to specialized suppliers and hand over the same to the Estimating Department; • to produce, assisted by the ACC/PCC, the HO construction man-hours estimate, split by the relevant CUO and hand over the same to the Estimating Department; • to produce, assisted by the ACC/PCC, the Field Supervision Barchart, indicating the professional roles with their typology and mobilization period, in accordance with the Project Schedule and hand over the same to the Estimating Department; • to produce and/or collect some Technical Annexes produced by other Sections of the Construction Department for TPIT Technical Proposal and hand over the same to the Proposal Manager.
